"PARK THE KIEVSKA RUS" OPENS THE SEASON OF MEDIEVAL FESTIVALS
Also at opening of a new season spectators have seen theatre performances "Park the Kievska Russ", performances of stuntmen and unforgettable fiery show. Each interested person could participate in interesting active games and competitions, to make horse walk.
For the first time in "Park" territory there has passed presentation of musical competition "Drum-type circle". Have opened a medieval shooting gallery (shooting from onions, a throwing of knifes and copies), arms museum, a children's playground, medieval wardrobe.
For winter in "Park" there were new constructions – protections of Big Jaroslavogo of the Court yard which, according to the plan, will settle down in territory of Detintsa, some manors XI-XIII and towers of different function are constructed centuries. It is planned to organise a museum of the medieval weapon and musical instruments. Besides, in territory of "Predgradja" there will be a cave of Nestora Letopistsa and gallery where it is planned to hold various exhibitions.
More than five months will pass festivals IX-XI in "Park", XIII and XV centuries, archers tournaments with fights, storm of a fortress and competitions of athletes on end. This year the rest program is added by thematic days off: a holiday of the smith, a crop, day of the graduate, day of youth, a fashion and beauty holiday, family days off and easier productive leisure in the open air. As the organizers inform, the first scale historical festival - "the Kiev Russia XIII centuries" will take place on May, 21-22st, and on June, 18-19th admirers of other epoch become witnesses of the international festival "Knights of XV item - fortress Storm". The traditional festival "Bylinas of Ancient Kiev – IX-XI century" should take place on August, 27-28th. On September, 24th and 25 will pass festival "Visitors of Ancient Kiev – XV century". The international tournament archers "the Arrow of Ancient Kiev" becomes last of the big actions. It will spend on October, 8th.
